The Nation takes its name after Chief Katstaweskum, whose baptismal name was Alexandre, the first Chief of Alexander First Nation. We are a First Nation government, governed by Custom Election Regulations, which is represented by one Chief and 6 Council members.

Mission: To protect our Inherent Treaty Rights through tactical initiatives, community enhancement, law development, and continuous improvement.
